RESPONSIBILITIES:
1)Coordinates all recruitment activities including, but not limited to visits to schools, mailings, visits by schools/students, meetings at parishes and visits to CCD classes
2)Coordinates open houses for potential students
3)Coordinates all school tours, whether by groups or individuals
4)Responsible for all public relations, relating to admissions activities, such as; press releases, advertising, etc.
5)Works with the Guidance Department to coordinate entrance examinations
6)Moderates the Ambassadors Club
7)Chairs and coordinates the work of the Admissions Committee, including the acceptance of students. Admissions Committee is made up of Director of Admissions, Principal, and Assistant Principal and other members of the professional staff
8)Responsible for all applicant files
9)Develops and coordinates programs relating to admissions, such as "How to Choose a High School"
10) Responsible for all computerized lists of potential students
11) Works with the Guidance Department for transition of new student records

He/she is accountable to the President
PURPOSE:
The Director of Admissions is responsible for all activities relating to the admission of students to Bishop Hendricken. With the assistance of other members of the school administration, he/she formulates all policies and procedures relative to admissions. He/she serves as a member of the Admissions Committee. President’s Advisory Committee and the Development Committee.
