SUMMER PROGRAMS
Many colleges and universities offer summer programs for high school students. Students experience on-campus living while taking specially designed seminar classes and/or actual college classes. This can be an opportunity for students to enrich themselves academically, to explore different career interests and to develop their skills and talents. We will update this list throughout the second semester as new information arrives.
ASSUMPTION COLLEGE: America’s Place in Western Civilization Seminar

BOSTON COLLEGE Summer Experience Program
A six week program from June 28 through August 5 for students who have completed their junior year of high school. Students take two courses for full college credit. CLICK HERE for more information.
BOSTON UNIVERSITY
- PROMYS PROGRAM This is a six week, selective program in mathematics for ambitious high school students with an exceptionally strong interest in math. For more information, visit www.promys.org
- HIGH SCHOOL HONORS For high school seniors or exceptional rising juniors. Students take two BU undergraduate courses during this six week program. For more information, CLICK HERE.
- RESEARCH INTERNSHIP IN SCIENCE & ENGINEERING This is a six week program for high school seniors who work in a lab conducting scientific research under the guidance of a faculty mentor. For more information, CLICK HERE.
- SUMMER CHALLENGE This is a two week program for high school students entering their sophomore, junior or senior year. Students participate in two non-credit seminars in such subjects as abnormal psychology, creative writing, journalism, law, infectious disease, among others. For more information, CLICK HERE.
CAMBRIDGE COLLEGE PROGRAMME at University of Cambridge in Cambridge, England
This is a program for high achieving high school students. Students chose from 65 academic courses, optional SAT preparation, and excursions and other cultural outings in the greater London area. For more information, visit

CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY Experiences in Architecture
This is an intense three-week workshop for students interested in architecture or other design-related fields. Students are exposed to both the academic and the professional sides of architecture. For more information, CLICK HERE.
CORNELL UNIVERSITY: Summer College Program for High School Students

Id TECH CAMPS Summer Technology program
Offering week long and multi-week day and overnight camps held on campus at various colleges and universities around the country, including Brown University. Offers a variety of technology related courses such as Robotics, 3D Video Game Design, and Web and Graphic Design, among many others. For more information, CLICK HERE.
LOYOLA UNIVERSITY CHICAGO Pre-Collegiate Summer Scholars
Offering three-week seminars and a six-week academy for current high school sophomores and juniors with at least a 3.2 gpa. For more information, CLICK HERE.
NORWICH UNIVERSITY Drill Camp
For high school students entering grades 10, 11, or 12 who have a 2.5 gpa or higher. Students will advance their individual and team skills in military drill and ceremonies while further developing their physical and mental strength. For more information, CLICK HERE.
PHILLIPS EXETER ACADEMY Summer School
