The academic program at Bishop Hendricken High School provides a rigorous and challenging course of study for all levels of students. As the preeminent college preparatory high school in Rhode Island for young men, Hendricken enjoys a reputation for academic excellence that is supported by the consistent acceptance of Hendricken graduates to the best colleges and universities in the United States. Hendricken graduates are prepared to excel at the next level of their education by their program of studies that includes Honors and Advanced Placement courses, as well as the standard College Prep level. Year to year, approximately 99% of Hendricken graduates attend college following graduation. As further testament to the reputation of Hendricken graduates for excellence at the college level, we are proud to report that our students have received scholarship awards exceeding $10 million dollars for the each of the past three graduating classes.

Academic news

The Bishop Hendricken Math Team competed in the Worcester Polytechnic Institute twenty-second annual Mathematics Meet and placed 13th out of 89 teams.  This is a great improvement from previous years and they were the only team from Rhode Island in the top 25.  Congratulations to the Math Team for this latest achievement.
