For over a decade, Summer Stage at Bishop Hendricken had inspired young theater artists and entertained sold-out audiences from around Rhode Island. The Summer Stage Workshop is a two week performing arts camp for students in grades 5-9 that showcases the next generation of stars. In 2009, Summer Stage unvailed the Rhode Island Touring Ensemble. This group of high school and college performers produce a children's musical that tours throughout the state to engage young audiences who might not have the opportunity to see live theater. The hallmark of our Summer Stage Program is our yearly summer musical theater event. High school students from around the state work with our professional artists to produce a memorable theatrical event.
