Clubs at Bishop Hendricken
Bishop Hendricken is dedicated to the development of the whole person: heart, mind, body and soul. Besides our interscholastic sports program, Bishop Hendricken supports a wide range of clubs and intramural sports. These activities are open to any student who demonstrates interest in a given area.
Students are encouraged, as they begin their Hendricken experience, to join clubs and intramural sports. Freshmen develop an immediate sense of belonging and become contributing members of the Hendricken "family." Through club and intramural sport participation, students quickly make new friends.
Meetings are announced over the PA system at regular intervals. If a student needs more information about a club, he can see Mr. Brennan in the Guidance Office or stop by the Main Office. They can direct you to the moderator of the group you wish to join. Clubs with specific requirements are noted in the club description. Meeting times are usually after school but may vary to suit the needs of the members.
Students have the opportunity to join numerous clubs and intramural sports. Whether they choose to write for the newspaper, challenge other schools in parliamentary debate, or participate in one of our intramural sports, their high school experience is enriched by these numerous opportunities.
