Summer Stage Workshop Highlights Bishop Hendricken Camp Season
Date: 07/10/2012
Bishop Hendricken's Summer Stage
Workshop, Rhode Island's premier theater camp run out of a high school
arts program, leads a list of activities for elementary, middle and high
school students this summer at BHHS.
Summer Stage
runs from July 9-20 and is open to boys and girls entering Grades 6-9
in the fall. Students who attend spend the first half of their days
rotating through three theater workshops: acting and improvisation,
movement for performers and musical theater performance. In the
afternoon, the performers convene to rehearse for a final production,
which will be presented the evening of July 20.
For more information about the workshop, and for an application, please e-mail hawks@hendricken.com.
Bishop Hendricken also offers a variety of sports camps each summer. Here's this year's list:
Basketball:
Best Hoops Basketball Camp will run two weeks of day camp July 23-27
and July 30-August 3. Camp is open to boys and girls ages 8-18. A
three-day "Get Ready Now" camp, designed for boys and girls preparing to
play for middle or high school teams next winter, will be held from
August 7-9. All camps are co-directed by former Bishop Hendricken Coach
Steve Ceseretti and current Coach Jamal Gomes. Visit
besthoopsbasketballcamp.com for more information.
Football:
Coach Keith Croft and several other top area football coaches will run
another session of their camp from July 16-20 on Bishop Hendricken's
