Volunteers play a key role in helping Bishop Hendricken High School achieve its goals and carry out its mission. Your involvement and assistance provides crucial support through advocacy of the school. Here are some of the ways alumni, parents and friends can become more involved with BHHS.

Class Agents

Class Agents foster relationships between alumni and the school by contacting classmates to request their involvement in alumni programs and fundraising activities.

Phone-A-Thons

Enjoy an evening with classmates, alumni, current students and parents by participating in the Phone-A-Thon. Volunteer to make calls to alumni in the fall or spring. The evenings begin at 6:00 pm with food, drinks, training and some time for socializing. Most importantly, you will make a real difference in the Annual Fund.

Regional Receptions

In order to further enhance our connections with alumni and friends, the Advancement Office is working to develop regional associations around the U.S. The idea is to bring Bishop Hendricken to your part of the world. Regional Receptions are open to alumni, parents, grandparents and friends in a given geographic area. Programs may include social, cultural, educational or sporting events, as well as networking opportunities. Your energy and ideas are welcome!

Mentoring Program

The alumni of Bishop Hendricken High School have moved on to many and diverse livelihoods and have honed skills that can be shared with current and future Hendricken students. We invite all alumni to become involved in the efforts to nurture the rich tradition that helped Bishop Hendricken to assist them in becoming the people they are today.

We welcome your updates, and news leads which are always helpful to give our Hawks and community members the recognition they have earned. Feel free to write about your Hendricken experience, an event you attended, or fill us in on the “goings-on” in your life.

Events

Bishop Hendricken’s doors are always open to you. We look forward to seeing you on campus, cheering on the Hawks at an athletic event, at a reunion or Regional Reception. You are also invited to assist in staffing several BHHS events in order that you may see the fruits of your efforts or join in the wonderful experience of service. Our volunteers happily report how fulfilling the experience of reconnecting with their school, their peers and friends makes them feel.
