Mail the completed application and test registration form along with the $35 testing/application fee to the Office of Admissions. Checks should be made payable to Bishop Hendricken High School. Visitation Days: select dates are available to be a "Hawk for a Day." Both individual and group visits are available to 8th grade boys and transfer candidates who would like to spend a day following a typical student schedule. Please call the Admissions Office at 401.739.3450, ext. 163 if you wish to arrange a visit.
The Entrance Exam for Bishop Hendricken High School will be held from 8:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. All students applying for admission to the 9th or 10th grade are required to take the Catholic High School Entrance Exam. Registration is required, but walk-ins are welcome. Please call the Admissions Office at 401.739.3450, ext. 162 to register.
This date is a Make-up date for the Entrance Exam for students who were sick or missed the December 1st date. The exam will be administered from 8:30am to 12:15pm. Please call in advance if you know you will need the make-up exam.
Admission notification letters will be mailed from the Office of Admissions. This is the common notification date for all Catholic schools in Rhode Island.
Families who wish to apply for financial assistance should refer to instructions under the “Financial Aid & Scholarships” tab for Admissions. Please follow the link for the FACTS financial aid application.
This is the deadline for returning enrollment forms to secure your son's place in the Class of 2018. This is also the deadline for completion of the FACTS financial aid application.
There is a $400 non-refundable registration deposit required for all new students at the time of enrollment. Checks should be made payable to Bishop Hendricken High School.
Forms for the monthly tuition payment plan with Tuition Management Systems should also be completed and returned in order for you to sign up for that service. There is a separate $40 fee to enroll in this service, please make checks payable to “Payment Plan.”
This is a great opportunity for students in 6th and 7th grade to tour the school and learn more. Transfer candidates, late applicants for 9th grade, or 8th grade students who have been accepted are encouraged to visit as well.
The Entrance Exam will be given for transfer candidates and late applicants for the freshman class.
All incoming freshmen and upper-class transfer candidates are required to sit for a placement exam for mathematics. For students who have studied a modern language in middle school, an optional placement test for language will also be given; it is recommended for those students who wish to continue studying the same language in high school.
All incoming freshmen and transfer students should plan to attend. At the Orientation, you will receive your fall class schedule, information concerning books, uniforms, transportation, activities and athletic programs.
