CAMPUS MINISTRY

Our Campus Ministry Program is designed to minister to the spiritual and religious needs of the entire Bishop Hendricken community. We endeavor to do this on a daily basis through our interaction with the young men who walk our halls each day, and through the following activities:

Campus Ministry creates an environment for school liturgies and prayer services so that we may encounter the risen Jesus in our Christian community.
We organize and administer a series of one-day retreats for students.
We select and train student leaders through our Peer Ministry Program to run one-day student retreats, to assist with new student orientation, and to minister as role models and “big brothers” to our students in general.
We also organize and administer a series of faculty & staff retreats.
We work with the Coordinator of Christian Service to aid the Bishop Hendricken Service Program, and to provide opportunities for our students to perform community service.
We facilitate opportunities for students to meet with the school Chaplain for counseling and/or other services.
We minister to students and families in times of need or family crises.
