The mission of Bishop Hendricken High School and our Catholic faith call us to provide service to those in need. We strive to attain this goal by following the example set by Blessed Edmund Rice, founder of the Congregation of Christian Brothers, and by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
To this end, all students are required to complete a minimum of twenty-five (25) hours of Christian service each school year. Forms to document the service performed may be printed from this website or picked up in the Christian Service Office or in Campus Ministry.
Students may choose to volunteer at any non-profit institution, such as food banks, churches, hospitals, schools, nursing homes, etc. A complete list of rules and guidelines may be found on this website under the campus ministry tab titled “service guidelines”.
