The Media Arts Program at Bishop Hendricken High School is a one-of-a-kind film school within a high school.
The NIROPE Digital Media Studio houses a film production studio with a large green screen, a digital film editing lab, and an advanced editing suite. Our students have access to the latest HD technology for filmmaking and Macintosh computers for editing and design work.
Students engage in all aspects of the digital media arts from performing for the camera, to writing screenplays, to editing and creating complex special effects using Adobe After Effects. Hawkeye Studios has everything necessary to allow a filmmaker the freedom to express his vision, from a giant green-screen to the best new digital cameras and professional editing stations. This exceptional arts opportunity provides students with the critical and creative experiences that will help them as more effective learners and leaders in the digital age.
