Summer Camps


K-12 BOYS & GIRLS SUMMER CAMPS

Bishop Hendricken hosts several summer camps for youth, both boys and girls, as young as kindergarten and as old as high school. The camps offer something for everyone, and help students grow and develop in the arts, athletics and technology.

Please read the information below to learn more about each of the summer camps offered through BHHS.

SPORTS CAMPS

Best Hoops 5-Day Basketball Camp

Camp Directors: Coach Steve Ceseretti & Coach Jamal Gomes, ’91
Camp Level & Ages: Open to boys and girls in ages 8-18 or grades 3-12.

*Separate instruction for boys and girls.

Elementary School: Ages 8-10; Middle School: Ages 11-13; High School: Ages 14-18*
*The High School level has a more advanced schedule of instruction.
*All campers are placed in groups according to their basketball abilities with age considerations. Levels may be added to balance teaching stations & team games.
Dates: July 17th – 21st; July 24th – 28th; July 31st – August 4th (Monday – Friday)
Times: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Place: Bishop Hendricken High School
Cost: $210 per camper per week; sibling and multi-week discounts available

Green & Gold Baseball Camp

Camp Level & Ages: Grades 6-9 (Incoming freshmen can attend)
Dates: August 7 – 11, 2017 (Monday – Friday)
Times: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily
Place: Bishop Hendricken High School
Cost: $175 per camper for the week

Elite Football School Youth Football Camp

Camp Level: Open to boys and girls in grades K-5.

*Non-contact youth camps – no camp on July 4th!

Designed for rising seniors (class of 2018), this intensive writing workshop is designed to strengthen student writing as it relates to the language arts demands of the Common Application. The course will also address specific demands of the essay supplements required by more competitive colleges, as well as crafting a personal resume.

Learning Workshop: Transitions for Success

Target AudienceIncoming freshmen

Description: Students will receive assistance from several BHHS faculty members to help them learn study and note-taking skills, review math and science skills, manage high school workloads, and learn the Order of the Catholic Mass.
