Hendricken’s Basketball program is among the finest and most decorated in the Northeast.

Under the direction of Head Coach Jamal Gomes ‘91, the varsity team captured a record seven consecutive Rhode Island state championships from 2004-2010. In 2018, Hendricken won its third consecutive state championship, and its seventeenth overall state title. The Hawks field three teams: Varsity, JV and Freshman, all of which compete at the Division I level of the Rhode Island Interscholastic League. The Freshman squad captured a state title in 2015.

Best Hoops Premier 5-Day Basketball Camp

Camp Director: Coach Jamal Gomes ’91
Camp Level & Ages: Open to boys and girls ages 7-18 or grades 2-12

*Separate instruction for boys and girls.*

Elementary School: Ages 7-10; Middle School: Ages 11-13; High School: Ages 14-18*
*The High School level has a more advanced schedule of instruction.
*All campers are placed in groups according to their basketball abilities with age considerations. Levels may be added to balance teaching stations & team games.

Times: 9am-3pm (Monday-Thursday), Friday 9am-2:30pm
