Coyle & Cassidy Admissions

Welcome to Hawk Country!

Dear Coyle & Cassidy students and parents,

As a Catholic educator for 35 years, I was saddened to learn this week that Coyle & Cassidy High School will be closing at the end of this year. I worked with many Coyle & Cassidy students during my years in college admissions, and I know the value of a Catholic high school education, as well as the value of our Catholic communities, and I am confident the friends and the connections you made there will not be lost!

In the meantime, however, I also know the reality for students and parents is that you will need to find a new school for the fall, and at Bishop Hendricken, I am confident you will find a community of faithful scholars, brothers, and friends who are happy to welcome you into the Hawk family! I look forward to hearing from you and meeting you, even virtually, in the days to come. I am also pleased to share that we are going to offer a tuition discount to any family who is applying from Coyle & Cassidy, and I am happy to share more details with you.

Although given the current health crisis I cannot schedule a personal interview or tour with you, please know that you can find a lot of information about Bishop Hendricken on these pages, and I encourage you to explore our academic programs and incredible arts, athletics, service and leadership opportunities! I also welcome the opportunity to schedule a call or online interview with you as well. Please feel free to contact me at csolomon@hendricken.com, or by phone at 401.743.0816.  If you are interested, please email me with your name and mailing information, and I am happy to put a packet of our admissions literature in the mail to you.

Applying to Bishop Hendricken

We welcome applications for 8th or 9th grade, or transfer admission for any grade. Please click below to get started with an application.

You will note the following with regard to the application:
1.) You will be asked for information about activities, including arts, sports and any volunteer work or leadership positions.

2.) You will be asked to enter the names and email addresses of two teachers to write recommendations for you. Assuming your teachers are working remotely, we would expect they can still complete these recommendations, but if that is not the case, please let me know.

3.) You will be asked to download a transcript release, which will require a parent signature and then you can email it back.

4.) Do not worry about the entrance exam. Once we are able to do so, I will request your HSPT scores from the Coyle & Cassidy guidance office.

Financial Aid

Please note that financial aid is still available for families who are applying now through May 30th.  You should go onto the FACTS website and list Bishop Hendricken on your current FACTS application for consideration. Review for financial aid will take place once an acceptance for admission is issued to you.

If there are other questions or concerns I can address for you, please do not hesitate to reach out.  I look forward to working with you and welcoming you to visit Bishop Hendricken as soon as we are able to meet again in person!  In the meantime, please accept my prayers and best wishes that you will find peace during this difficult time. Stay safe and be well.

Sincerely,
Cathy Solomon
