Media Arts

8944-1

The Media Arts program at Bishop Hendricken is a one-of-a-kind film school within a high school.

Students engage in all aspects of the digital media arts from performing for the camera, to writing screenplays, to editing and creating complex special effects using the Adobe Creative Suite.

Mr. Mark Fogarty, Media Arts Program Coordinator

  • Current students and alumni participate annually in the Rhode Island 48-Hour Film Festival, collaborating to create their own original films.
  • Media Arts students and their work are featured annually at the SENE Film Festival in Providence.
  • Media Arts students have moved on to premier film schools, including the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and Emerson College.
