Statement of President John A. Jackson

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WARWICK, RI (December 5, 2018) – The following is a statement from President John A. Jackson regarding today’s school closure:

“A bomb threat message was discovered this morning at Bishop Hendricken High School. The Warwick Police and the Rhode Island State Police responded and did an extensive search of the building and premises and found no credible threat. As the safety and welfare of our students is always of paramount concern, school was cancelled today. School will resume tomorrow as scheduled.”

This evening’s winter sports parent meeting will be moved to Monday, December 10, 2018 at 7pm. All athletic practices are cancelled this afternoon. The drama program will conduct their dress rehearsal as scheduled this evening.
