Volunteer Today!

Volunteers play a key role in helping Bishop Hendricken High School achieve its goals and carry out its Mission. Your involvement and assistance provides crucial support through advocacy of the school. Here are some of the ways alumni, parents, students and friends can become more involved with Bishop Hendricken.

Advancement Events

The Advancement Department hosts many social and fundraising events throughout the year. They include the following: Alumni Golf Tournament, For the Boys Gala, Hall of Fame, and Homecoming Weekend, among others. To volunteer or to find out more about any of these events, please contact Heather PicilloAnnual Fund & Database Coordinator, at hpicillo@hendricken.com.

Alumni Mentor Program

Our alumni are invited to share their time and talents with a current Hendricken student that may need some support and guidance. You would work directly with the guidance office. If you are interested in finding out more, please contact Tom Harkins ’76 at tomhark2002@yahoo.com.

Host a Reception

In order to build our relationships and foster strong connections with our entire Hendricken Community, the Advancement Office sets up social networking events in RI and across the country. If you would like to host one of these events, please contact Peter Thomas ’86, Director of Institutional Advancement, at pthomas@hendricken.com.

Parent’s Council

Join the Bishop Hendricken Parent’s Council and help plan events, volunteer activities, and be ambassadors of the school. If you would like more information or join the Parent Council, please contact Caren Catoia, Business Office – Tuition Assistance, at caren@hendricken.com.

Enjoy an evening with classmates, alumni, faculty, current students and parents by participating in one of our many calling and mailing nights to solicit gifts to the Hendricken Legacy Fund. The evening begins at 6pm with food, drinks, training, and some time for socializing. The evening will end by 9pm. Most importantly, you will make a difference in the lives of a Hendricken student. To help at a Phone-A-Thon or to find out more, please contact Heather PicilloAnnual Fund & Database Coordinator, at hpicillo@hendricken.com.

The Hawk Insider

We welcome your updates and news leads which are always helpful to give our Hawks and community members the recognition they have earned. Feel free to write about your Hendricken experience as a student, alum, faculty, or parent. Maybe you attended an event that you liked or just fill us in on the “goings on” in your life. Please contact Michele King, Director of Communications, at mking@hendricken.com.
